La Guerra Civil Espa\u00f1ola (1936 a 1939) fue el conflicto m\u00e1s sangriento que Europa occidental hab\u00eda experimentado desde el final de la Primera Guerra Mundial en 1918.Fue un caldo de cultivo para cometer atrocidades en masa. Aproximadamente 200,000 personas murieron como resultado de asesinatos sistem\u00e1ticos, violencia de las turbas, tortura u otras brutalidades.La guerra desplaz\u00f3 a millones de espa\u00f1oles. En 1939, aproximadamente 500,000 refugiados huyeron a Francia, donde muchos de ellos ser\u00edan confinados a campos de prisioneros. 15,000 republicanos espa\u00f1oles terminaron en campos de concentraci\u00f3n nazis despu\u00e9s de 1940.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
