La fuente de Ca\u00f1o tiene unos 200 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad y est\u00e1 situada cerca del r\u00edo Sella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Esta fuente vierte las aguas provenientes de Sierra Alta, una red de acu\u00edferos y arroyos que discurre por debajo de todo el pueblo de Ca\u00f1o brotando en distintos lugares, uno de los cuales es la fuente de Ca\u00f1o. Seg\u00fan recuerdan los m\u00e1s ancianos del lugar, era utilizada para coger agua para el consumo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Posteriormente, un vecino del pueblo construy\u00f3 un peque\u00f1o lavadero, que se ve a la derecha de la fuente, para que su mujer pudiese lavar la ropa, pues no pod\u00eda arrodillarse para lavarla en el r\u00edo, como hac\u00eda el resto de mujeres en aquella \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Se desconoce si la fuente conserva su forma original, pero la \u00fanica reforma conocida fue llevada a cabo por el Taller de Empleo de Cangas de On\u00eds en 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los pueblos antes ten\u00edan mucha m\u00e1s vida y de la que solo nos quedan las historias que nos puedan contar los m\u00e1s ancianos.
